20 August 2011
One of the two graduation services - the service that I graduated in.
We were @ Suntec early. Supposed to have another round of rehearsal but due to time, we didn’t manage to have a full rehearsal.
SOT’s very own praise/worship team kicked off the service, followed by our Dean Pst Bobby who took the offering.
After that was a 7mins sharing by one of the SOT students - who happened to be from Team8! Woohoo!!! Apparently it been quite some years since there were a female preacher @ SOT Graduation. We are all so so so so proud of her!

After Pst Abraham's sharing of the Word, it was then the Graduation Ceremony cum Awards Presentation.
Right from the beginning of the service, I was filled with amazement and gratefulness to God. There were so many moments that I just felt tears in my eyes.
(got to be “cautious” how I cry cause of makeup… Oops! Haha!) Never did I expect I will have a day like this. I have attended many SOT graduation, some as “supporter” to my cg or ministry members, some just as “audience”.
But this time I am not “supporter” or “audience” but as graduate! Different feeling to be in the graduation gown, seated at the section for SOT students only.By God’s grace, I was one of the winners of “Best Attendance”.

Went to look for my cg when the whole service ended. As I was approaching, I was touched and almost in tears when I saw BIG banner with my name spelled out individually.
I’m blessed! I'm loved!
My principal, Mrs E Tan actually came with another colleague of mine!

Actually about a week before my graduation, we were msging each other so I shared with her the joy that I will be graduating soon. She asked for the details but then didn’t give me any reply whether she can make it a not. Understand her busyness so told her is ok and I really appreciate her thoughts. She didn’t said “no” immediately, just said she will try her very best.
On that day, not long after service started, I received a msg from Principal and Z Laoshi that they are in the service. I was touched, very touched!
Cause (1) Mrs E Tan is very busy so for her to take her Sat, a weekend off… is really amazing (2) Mrs E Tan ever mentioned that she don’t quite enjoy those “loud” praise and worship cause it will trigger her headache but the fact that she braced through all these and attended CHC for my graduation. I’m touched!
After that was photossssssssss-taking time!

The night ended with a dinner time with Teammate YG and her family who came from Taiwan and also Teammate JL with her church’s pastor and wife.
Finally!!! I’m into Week6 of Term4!!!
Really thank God for seeing me through the last 5weeks!
Started with “SOP” to “Induction” to now working on lesson plan for “Environmental Awareness” for three levels (Nursery to K2) and to include KCG too.
Everyday my hours in school would be spent searching the net for pictures/information, looking for activities etc etc. More hours spent with computer and probably only ~30mins (in all) with the children.
Really cant wait for this term to end.
I can't, really cant wait to get back to classroom! =)
Throughout the entire trip, the five of us were truly very loved and blessed by the people @ Batangas.

Pst Nilo and his wife, Pastora Ella treated us so well, gave us the honor and respect despite us being just “Beginner Missionaries”. For a moment, we felt like we were "Superstars". Haha!

The youth from PUP respected us so much that whether in their opening or closing sentence, they will address us “Ate” for elder sister and “Kuya” as elder brother.
We were truly blessed and amazed - from the first meal we took to the last meal @ Batangas were actually blessed by Pst Nilo! Later we found that the money was actually collected from the church members as love offering to bless us.
Awwww… They may not be rich people but they are definitely generous and loving people!
We were also very blessed at all the quality and quantity fellowship with Pst Nilo over meals. Throughout the conversations with him, Pst Nilo spoke in English and Teammate ML and/or I tried our very best to translate for our Taiwanese teammates.
It can be quite mind-draining, especially (1) Pst Nilo don't stop after few sentences for us to translate and (2) after a long day.
Can still remembered one of the nights was actually quite tired/sleepy so the biggest “challenge” was not in translating but keeping my eyes opened. Haha!
Ever since we were back from Philippines, we managed to link up with quite many of them on facebook. Really thank God for that!
Ever since then, we didn’t never stopped be in contact with the people @ Batangas. Even during our graduation, we remembered to take photo/videos and tag them. They did their part - whether through fb or through times when we met each other online.
Quite encouraged by this youth T and youth H who openly shared their lives with me. I'm also thankful that they are allow me to have a speaking right over them and that I'm able to be a source of "help" and support for them.
Even during Pst Nilo's birthday recently, we mailed over a little gift. Whenever he sees the calender with us on it, told him to remember that the five of us will be constantly praying for him, his family and the people @ Batangas.

The people @ Batangas will forever be in our hearts, mind and prayers!
Mon 18 July
Early early morning, we left Bishop Carding’s house to the airport.

Though we encountered some problem due to our “overweight“ luggages but still, thank God everything went well at the end.

While waiting to board the plane, Teammate SM, JL, ML, YC and myself gathered and gave Pst Nilo a call - to bid the LAST goodbye. He was touched to receive our call.
It was a pleasant flight back to Singapore.
Of course, we were all tired… zZzzZzz

Wooohooo! Back to Sunny Singapore!

We had our breakfast @ budget terminal just before we left separately.
That day was also a day I will not forget. After a quick unpacking of luggage, I left home without any rest to Friend JL’s place together with Friend RT. On my last night @ Manila, with the access of wifi, I only realized from facebook and friends’ whatsapp messages that Friend JL’s dad passed away.
Whewww~~~ That's all... for now!
Done with the daily's activities @ Manila/Batangas!
The main service started with the different SOT people who led the segments. The main preaching was by Bishop Tony, a prophet.

Seriously speaking, throughout the service, only my physical body was there. Later I knew that Teammate SM and Teammate JL too. We were thinking about the people @ Batangas and Pst Nilo who left without saying proper goodbye. Shocking moment came!
Teammate SM and I supposed to go up for offering after Bishop Tony’s preaching. Just when Bishop Tony was doing his ending prayer, Teammate SM turned to me and said “I miss the people @ Batangas”.
I tell you, that sentence brought tears to my eyes! And before I can wipe away my tears or adjust my mood, we got to go up for offering!!! I was like “Aiyo! Why must you tell me that now?!”
Not sure whether my translating was moody a not but I did to the best of my ability. Thank God everything went well - for the good teamwork with Teammate SM and for the confidence to stand in front of the big crowd to translate. Not forgetting thank God for the flow of words too!

At the end of the service, the entire team were invited by on the stage where Bishop Carding thank us for our ministry, prayed for us and presented us a certificate/gift.

After the service, the entire team met up with Bishop Tony for a short talk. All of us then left the room and took turn to come in again to have one-to-one time with Bishop Tony where he gave a word of prophecy to us.

For some, he shared about our past, our current and our future. For some, it was 100% accurate about their past, for some it was “Wow! Wow!” about the word given for the future. Personally mine was not so much on the past but rather the future which left me “Wow!”.
It was our last night @ Manila so Bishop Carding, his wife and his entire team of leaders brought us to a place for dinner. It was a good time of catching up and hearing the different testimonies from the various ones at the mission place.

Throughout we were actually smsing Pst Nilo cause we thought since we had the SIM card and time.
After dinner was a time @ nearby supermarket where a few teammates used up their remainder $$$.
We spent the night at Bishop Cardin’s house, big big house while waiting for our midnight flight.

For the many hours, we washed up, rested, relaxed, packed up, fellowship, facebook-ed...
took photossssss!
