Let me blog blog a while before I get back to my practicum folder again.

Just this week alone, been packed packed packed since Mon - finally 95% done with the stuffs needed for practicum next Tuesday (oh man... really getting near)

Will share more after my practicum... =)

May I have a little request from YOU, all my faithful readers?

Keep me in your prayerssss!!!

... for a smooth practicum session

... children will be engage in all the activities independently

... all the activities will be age-appropriate & interesting to the children

... Cher Lim will be a good facilitator to the children

... “controllable” children (haha... that they will know give me a “surprise” on the actual day)

... for God's peace because .. .. .. .. .. am pretty nervous actually. =p

You sow “help” ... you reap “help” ???

Somehow to me, the above statement don't seem to come true in the area of ***.

When they need help for ***, as long as I'm able, I will help and this happened MORE than once.

But when things turned around and I need help for *** it seem so hard to find someone who is available.

Hmm... how come like that? Is it I too kpo or others too busy?

After sitting infront of the computer for few hours, finally ..... I have completed my two individual assignments!

Though is only the mid-week but seem like a loooooong week to me already. Time to get back to real “business”.

If you were on the news yesterday, you would have came across about a regular serviceman who collapsed in the midst of a routine run and ..... he never got up.

That's my uncle ... number 7 aka youngest brother/uncle in the Lim Family. His image have always been projected as “healthy” ... it is definitely a shock to everyone.

When the daughter of his called me, I just couldn't believe it. My heart goes out to the three children – their mother left them years back and now their daddy. They are pretty young, still in their 10s and early 20s.

The eldest was still telling me previously that she intends to celebrate her 21^st in May over @ chalet and she planned to to show her daddy her boyfriend when they are more stable ... she never will be able to.

The second is taking a big exam this year, the good result, the life in university, the graduation ... the child will never have the presence of daddy around.

The youngest is still in secondary school, many many more years ahead but all without the presence, counsel, company, cheering etc of daddy.

What's ahead of them will definitely not be easy but I'm very sure they will pull through! Will be keeping them in constant prayers! JIAYOU cousins!

"Life is fragile", really fragile ... let's treasure all who God placed in your life! And of course to live our everyday to the fullest.

Was on two of my cousins' blog earlier... they blogged about the sudden death of uncle too. I'm sure many in the Lim Family are affected one way or another by this incident.

Child Jo: * seconds later * Y Laoshi, wo zhen de hen er

Y Laoshi: Kua dian chi Kua dian chi

Child Jo: * immediately ... with “painful” look * Y Laoshi, wo heng er!

Y Laoshi: * sense something not right * ????

Child Jo: I very full

Y Laoshi: Child Jo, full is “wo bao le”. Haha!

Child S: Everyone! Come and see!

Children: Bee! Bee! Bee! * super excited *

Child E: * passed Cher Lim a tissue paper * Cher Lim! Bee! Can you go pick it up?

Cher Lim: Why? Let the “bee” (not bee, just some fly) fly away.

Children: ~ some commotion ~

Child J: Oh Cher Lim, no need to be scare right. The bee so small, we so big, Cher Lim so huge!

Cher Lim: @@! Haha!

Cher Lim: Boy B & Girl J, what are you all doing?

Boy B: ...

Girl J: Oh Cher Lim, we are walking

Cher Lim: ... ...

* due to some reason, Cher Lim changed Boy B's seat and didn't realized it was beside Girl J *

Girl J: Yeah!

Cher Lim: Oh no! Haha! Girl J, why are you so happy that Boy B sit here?

Girl J: * very softly * Because I love him

Cher Lim: You love him?

Girl J: Yes, I want to marry him

Cher Lim: @@! You want to marry him!? * laughed loudly in my heart *

Cher Lim: Girl J: Do you know what's “marry”?

Girl J: * nodded her head * Be... Be together

Friend Sc: I know! Marry means wear nice dress

Friend Ti: Wear wedding gown

Cher Lim: ... ...

* seconds later *

Friend Et: Cher Lim, last time Girl J like Boy I

Girl J: * silence *

Cher Lim: Oh!

Boy J: Last time she also like me

Cher Lim: Aiyoyo! Child J, you got to be faithful you know. (trying to be lame as I know she wont understand what I'm trying to say)

Girl J: * silence *

Child Jn: Cher Lim! Cher Lim! Child Ia take my toy!

* investigation took place *

Child Jn: I take this toy first then Child Ia take it away!

Child Ia: * almost in tears * You say yes first

Cher Lim: ???

Child Jn: * attempted to snatch it back *

Child Ia: * resist and refused to return the toy * You must say yes

* Cher Lim is pretty reserved to help as wanted to see how they solve the problem *

* struggle went on – Child Ia kept insisting Child Jn to say “yes” but Child Jn just refused *

Cher Lim: Hmm.. Child Ia, why must Child Jn say “yes”?

Child Jn: Give me back my toy!

Child Ia: * almost in tears * You... You must say “yes”

Cher Lim: ??? Is it Child Jn must say “please” first”>

Child Ia: No... must say “yes”

* the verbal fight went on for a while * Cher Lim came back

Cher Lim: * noticed both Child Jn & Child Ia were playing together * So Child Jn, you say “yes”?

Child Jn: Yes... I say already

Cher Lim: Child Ia, why must Child Jn say “yes”>

Child Ia: * paused a while * Because... Because I can give him something next time

Cher Lim: ???????? x100

I met the two ladies.

Ever wonder does children have “Monday Blues”?


I had a late night yesterday thus was in zzz-mode throughout my journey and the morning preparation time in school.

The moment the school bus arrived...

“Good Morning Teacher G! Zao An Y Laoshi! Zao An L Laoshi!” ... not just from one child BUT many others. Haha!

The moment Teacher Lim (who was in 2^nd storey) heard the super loud & energetic voices, she =) as she braced opened her sleepy eyes and went down to welcome the children happily.

Am meeting my practicum supervisor tomorrow ... Am i going to have Tues green after meeting her? Haha!
