OuuuuuuuuCh! sNiFfFFFffFff!

Don't like being down physically...

Just when I recovered from a week of back “pain” which was quite bad as I could feel the discomfort when I bend and even when I'm standing! Seriously, it was bothering me as I was afraid that if it continues for long, it will be something serious but thank God the discomfort went off after few rubs & some rest and according to doctor, it could be issues related to muscles. =)

Soon after I caught a cold! Oh man, it was terrible! I guess this my “coldest” cold ever, felt like “leaving” my nose @ home before I go out. Haha! Beside being "busy" with my nose & throat throughout the entire week, I was also busy with school as there were many stuffs to clear for the term end. Thank God for the strength to pull through! =)

Finally the week is coming to an end soon.. looking forward to my coming one-week holiday! =)

SeRmOn On ThE mOuNt - - - the very first audio CDs set that I have. =)

And guess what, I didn't spend a single cent, is a blessing from two of my friends, S & N recently.

Meant to be gift for my water baptism, really didn't expect anything from them actually. Told them that their presence was already a good gift to me and somehow this CDs set will add as a bonus!

Know that the set is not cheap (just when I was typing this, I decided to pop by @ Attributes website to check out the amount ... OH MAN ... is way over $100!). The “burden” must be so heavy for both of them.

Got back another assignment, Self & Social Awareness with 80% group assignment & 20% individual test.

The group assignment was challenging, thinK I blogged before. We were asked to do a bring home kit which promotes Self & Social Awareness, for parents to play together with their children. We got to do 2 games, 4 activities, 2 rhymes, 1 electronic story, presentation & a kit box.

As usual, we complained & complained when Mr Lecturer told us about the requirements but on the day of presentation, we were all amazed and of course we thanked Mr Lecturer for believing in us!
Another challenge is that Mr Lecturer got us to step out of our comfort zone by working in a different group and of course we complained & complained but at the end of the day, not just did we cooperated very well, we also got to know our coursemates better. Haha! Thank God Mr Lecturer never give in to our complains & complains.

Our group came out with this, “inside our kit, there's more than just games, there's also our sweat, blood, white hairs and $$$”. Haha!
Our effort was paid off ... we got the HIGHEST marks! =)

20% individual assignment was opened-book test ... though opened-book but many of us were struggling to find the answers, guess is also the way the questions were phrased. Haha! I remembered the first few moments when I scanned through the questions, I almost give up. Partly also before that I wasn't well-prepared by reading the articles well enough.

Thank God thank God, I did my best & God did the rest ... I got 16/20, the second highest in class! =)
Don't suspect, there was no grace given by Mr Lecturer. Haha!

So after adding both, for that module, I got an ......... A! =)
Is a great surprise & a great motivation for me! =)

Picture this ... a middle old-aged man hold to his elderly mum's arm as she walk up the clinic's platform, queue number 002.

Hmm... witnessed this during my last visitation and of course I know both of them, father and grandma of my student. While waiting, they shared with me the “happenings” caused by the children back home and their worries when the elders no longer around, as in who to take care of Sibing B (from JAMs). According to them, Sibing A not only didnt take care or shower Sibing B with love, Sibing A will beat Sibing B if caught eating or touching Sibing A's stuffs.

“Why Sibing A like that? Why Sibing A like this” was my first thought but along the way, I tried to look in another point of view, I tried to understand why all that from Sibing A. Guess it had not been easy for her as well. =)

That visit also add as a beep beep sign to me – to never take things for granted, treasure what you have & who you have.

Jul 19th – Yanni's spiritual birthday

Blink blink and the water baptism service ended and that's goes the old woMAN!
Was all excited for the day of my water baptism ... more than just the “dipping”, I looked forward more to the life of a new woMAN!

The moment I came out of the water.. I didn't see the clouds split opened but I do felt something different in the spiritual realm. Ever since that day of my water baptism, could felt a change in my my nights of QT. Greater breakthroughssss await this new woMAN ... Amen!

Thank you to ALL who took the time off to witness my special day! Didn't expect quite a few to turn up. Not forgetting to those who cant be there physically but still sent forth their present.

I am the apple of God's eyes!

“I think you must talk to them! If you are really a man then you must go talk to them! Dont worry, they wont touch you. I guarantee! If they touch you, I also call my friends down now to touch them. Is like that one! They touch you, I touch them! You know who I am not. I am Ah ____! you know” & “Is like that one, if you cannot help them then harm them!”
Am I too 'old' for this? I almost fainted when I heard this from a 15years old girl who wanted to help solve her cousin's problems caused by BGR, friendship & money.

Together with Teacher L, we been having "counselling sessions” with 3 students who somehow in a triangle-love relationship. Woo... "happening" right?! Haha!

We said so much, nagged so much, talked so much but don't know how much get in to them. Will history repeat itself? Now is to really keep them in prayers. Nevertheless want to thank God for His favor as well, times when few AhBeng-alike students are angry, very angry ... they were still willing to listen to us & gave us the respect.
