"Graduation" by vitamin C ... very specially dedicated to Jane Low ... from JAMs kaki

And so we talked all night about the rest of our lives
Where we're gonna be when we turn 25
We keep thinking times will never change
Keep on thinking things will always be the same
But when Jane leave this june ttheres no turning back
No more hanging out cause she's on a different land
And if you got something that you need to say
You better say it right now cause you only have 4 days
Cause you're moving on and you're can't slow down
These memories are playing like a film without sound
And we keep thinking of the nights on sundays
We didn't know how much of love, but it came too soon
And there was us and you, and then it got real blue
Go Bukit Batok and we eat till full
We would get so excited, we'd get so glad
Laughing at ourselves thinking life's not fair
And this is how it feels

Chorus:
AS WE GO ON, WE REMEMBER
ALL THE TIMES WE PUI (SPENT) TOGETHER
AND AS OUR LIVES CHANGE, FROM WHATEVER
WE WILL STILL BE, FRIENDS FOREVER

So if we get the big jobs and make the big money
When we look back now, will that joke still be funny
Will we still remmeber everything we said in JAMs
Still be trying to break through every sunday
Will Mr Sato Seiichiro be the main usher
Can wennie find a ball that won't interfere with her ha chio
We keep, we keep thinking that it's not goodbye
Keep on thinking it's a time to fly
And this is how it feels

*Repeat a chorus*

La, la, la, la; yeah, yeah, yeah
La, la, la, la, we will still be FRIENDS FOREVER

Will we think about tomorrow like we think about now
Can we survive it out there? Can we make it somehow?
We guess we thought that this would never end
And suddenly it's like we're women and men
Will the past be a shadow that will follow us round
Will these memories fade when Jane leave this monday
We keep, we keep thinking that's not goodbye
Keep on thinking it's not Jane's time to fly

*Repeat chorus*

5 months - that’s how short I know Jane Low but somehow it feels like 5 years. =pPpPp

Very very very soon, she will be flying off to Australia for studies for not just 4 weeks, not even 4 months but for 4 YEARS! After some calculation … by the time she returns with her square hat, Yanni will be 25 years old! Oh no!! =)

This blog entry is especially dedicated to JANE LOW!

THANK YOU … for making a difference in w5!
THANK YOU … for your love for w5 students!
THANK YOU … for being my awesome BH and great VH!
THANK YOU … for your friendship!
THANK YOU … for being who you are!

Teacher Jane! w5 students is a group of people who are not very good at expressing themselves through words so about your leaving, maybe they didn’t or even will never come to you to say out but trust me, they are going to miss you. Teacher Jane’s laughters, Teacher Jane’s smile, and even Teacher Jane’s scream is what w5 students, Teacher Yiwei and Teacher Yanni are going to miss. =)

BH Jane! =) BC Yanni just want to take this time to say a big THANK YOU for the 3months with w5. Though it has only been 3 months, but really appreciates you a lot. Thank you for your commitment to visitation! Going to miss doing visitation with you … you never fail to “entertain” during our long distance walk from houses to houses, especially with your tamil words. =)

* At Australia … must really take great care of yourself. Go strong, come back stronger!
Always remember that w5 is always here for you … so does Teacher Yanni. =)

-sick-

TERRIBLE feeling sick!
Errmm no little “angels” from PAP … how come will sick ar?! Haha … Dr. Lau suspect is the mass queuing at Emerge where gems and virus also went to queue. =p

Down with fever … plus a hyper nose which want to participate in the 100m dash. =p
That’s why I can’t eat POTATO CHIPS and CHOCOLATE even when they fly across my eyes at the chalet … first because Dr. Lau will stare! Second if I eat, I will make the prayers of my friends goes in vain! =)

* Thanks guys for praying for me!*

The reason I am blogging about my sickness is cause I find it so amazing to be soooo sick. =p
Or I should said … Teacher Yanni seldom sick until like that, so sick until must see doctor and eat medicine, so sick until have to set aside one day to do nothing but eat medicine sleep eat medicine sleep. =) We must all pray for stronger and healthy body!

2 Days 2 Nights

S02/E322’s chalet - I’m invited! =pPpP

Not many came because many of the people are sick and resting at home. Actually even the people who came for the chalet, half of us are also sick- even before we came for the chalet then some more living under the same roof, sharing the gems with each other. Oops Oops!

RISK – the war game that not only keep our time going at the chalet but also the game which reveal everyone’s true colour … heehee

sentence like this are made:
“I still have RISK cards lehz!”
“I wont attack you one!”
“TC, we friend friend k. RN, we friend friend k. CQ, we friend friend k.”
“Attack him attack him. Don’t attack me!”

Unhealthy chalet! –said Cuiqi
Evidence to support what she said … we had bbq food for dinner cum supper, MacDonald for breakfast, bubble tea with superb pearl for lunch, tibits of chips and chocolate for snacks, nearly ice-cream for breakfast. And not forgetting SLEEP sleep SLEEP. =pPpP

For me … I enjoyed the chalet, eventhough only a few of us but it was cool enough already. Enjoyed the fellowship we had together.
The only one thing that is sad is my fever cum flu. Because of that I can’t sleep properly … finds myself waking up in the middle of the night, either to take tissue to stuck my nose or going to the loo cause one shot drank 800ml of water. =p
The hardest moment is controlling what I eat … packets and packets of chips and chocolate fly right infront of my eyes but I have to let it bypass me! sobsobz.

~adventure mrt journey~

I was in the train with Jane from City Hall. Just when a mentally challenged student and her mum walked in.
*Jane and I … our eyes popped up and in full-gear mode*

As we can’t really talk to them on the train so somehow we’re prepared to follow them and alight at where they alight. Heehee … so naughty us, on one hand we are praying that they can stay Bukit Batok (the area my bus covered) but on the other hand to pray they don’t stay too far, if not after reaching out, we will have a long way home to YCK for Jane and AMK for me. So then began to pray and ask God to let them alight at Yishun. =)

Operator said “Ang Mo Kio” – both still sitting down … no movements
“Yio Chu Kang” – not alighting … praying and keeping fingers crossed
“Khatib” – STILL not alighting … oh no! oh no! God, please make them alight Yishun
“Yishun” – leaving their seats … PRAISE GOD! THANK YOU JESUS!

Thank God … for peace and calm-ness when talking to the mum! This is the FIRST time I spoke to total unfamiliar parent when reaching out and not tremble in my words! =)

Thank God for an open heart of the mum … they are actually attending another church already but when I talked about JAMs Church who can actually meet the needs of her child, the mum looked interested.

Thank God for Jane … if not I may have back out and alight at AMK quietly then of course live in regret. Two is better than one! =)

Thank God … for a seed that is being sown in their heart. Now is to keep on praying and believe that as we did what we can, God will do what we can’t.

The most funny thing is after we finished talking to the mum, the mum actually turned and asked, “You all stay around here?” and we two *flipped flipped*. In another word, actually somehow the mum did noticed that we two have been peeping on them on train and ‘following’ them down. Haha … But thank God for everything! =)

~First-Aider~

You need CPR? =p I am a “qualified” First-Aider!
Just attended a 3-days First Aid course by
St. John … though is physically-demanding but overall is fun, gained a lot of knowledge and skills too. =)

*Thank God*
On the last day of the course, we are actually tested both theory and practical. Just an hour before our actual paper, the lecturer went through past year questions with us. And can you imagine, when we got hold of our actual exam paper, we nearly flipped … out of the 20 questions, 18 questions is exactly the same as what the lecturer went through with us! Hahahahaha! =)

During the practical of CPR … was pretty nervous, scare will make mistakes. But really thank God for a good examiner (though old [white hairs & white eyebrows!] but one who is knowledgeable and humorous). Just did out the procedure … check for surrounding, check for foreign body, check purse/breathing, perform rescue breathing and then CPR. Thank God that everything went on smoothly! At the end of the day, lecturer said … “Passed!” Yipee! Yipee! Really thank God! =) You need CPR?
