see look see look

First was three ladies from MOE… heard one of them is someone with high post. Our prinipal was sharing with us after the visit that she was only prepared for two officers to visit but was shocked when she saw the High Post Lady. She found herself kept repeating “Is our honor! Is our honor!“

Next was 30 principals/teachers from PCF…
Followed by another 30 principals from PCF…
The latest was another 30-40 teachers/principals from PCF…
Our school aunty joked - “so many principals come… think whole Singapore’s principals here already”

I managed to “escape” from the observation by the MOE… a senior teacher took over the class + time of learning corners but I didn’t for the visit of the last batch of principals.

Was having reading time with the children where not one, not two but 5-6 principals entered my classroom at the same time!!!
And the next thing - I saw flashlights! Opps… I’m captured on camera!
At that time, thoughts that came to my mind wasn’t “My hair messy? Did I sit properly? Is my facial expression friendly?” but it almost went blank, I was like “Hello?! Can don’t take photos a not?!” Haha!

After the days of visit… I’m just so amazed by my principal, Mrs E Tan of her generosity.
Unlike other kindergarten who will hide their resources (esp what’s originated/started from them) and curriculum, Mrs E Tan chose to share it cause she believed in benefiting more kindergarten and children.
Check this out - she also believed that the ideas came from God so she is confident that even she shared with others, God will give her new ideas again. Wow!

More than just sharing verbally, she allowed the principals/teachers to take photos of the school’s environment, the learning corners, the resources etc etc. She even gave the main in-charges a “goody bag” that contained some of the self-made resources and even the templates. Wow Wow!

Popular May

May is a popular month because… because… is my birthday! =p

Just like my fb status - “Am so blessed by the all the wishes via fb/sms, all the love gifts, all the treats & all the celebration!”

My birthday celebration started a week before…

First was with a group of great friends! This our xth year celebrating birthday together.
Really appreciate their effort in showing up despite their busy schedule & tiredness. And not forgetting their love gift! Thank you friends!

Then followed by celebration with beloved zone over Korean dinner!
Beside getting a BIG cake, I also received a BIG love gift - totally overwhelmed x10! Not forgetting personal gifts from Dajie, Lion & Grandson.

With special guests appearance - Prince Ansel & Prince Tristen!

How can I forget?!?!
A “must-have” on Yanni’s birthday - a birthday card.

I simply love the design of the card, the caption on the card, the badges in the card, the photos in the card and most of all… the messages from the various ones.

“You are specially handpicked by God for His plans & purposes.
There was no second choice, no backup plan…”

Thank you EVERYONE in Lily's zone!

The morning of May 19 started with 300+ children singing birthday song & blessing to Miss Lim!
Received a "standard present" from the principal - just when I thought should be "nothing much"... I was shocked to find a nice pen + a $30 vouchers!
I also received cards and bookmark (below) from children & little gifts from a few closed colleagues.
Also had a mini celebration from colleagues after school. The night ended with a secret date with Robin Hood.

Next was with colleagues @ Staff Bonding session over delicious crabby dinner - I was shocked that my level head & Chinese teacher bought me a cake and colleagues celebrated for me again!

Thereafter was celebration with Jm1Jm2... unique “cake” + yummy feast + great fellowship!

Thank you Jm1Jm2!

Also from my beloved w5 - received wishes, received cards and gifts (supplement)!

This "21st birthday"... I am tremendously showered with blessingsssss - from family, from friends, from colleagues and from children! Thank you God for everything & everyone! =)

“Water Relay” - The most water left wins.....

Working hard & independently @ the learning corners.....

“Dirty Water” - Lets bring our “fish” for a swim.....

the boy on the left was so cute - the moment he see the “dirtied water”, he went eeeeeks… when it was his turn, he went eeeeeks… when he got near the tank, he went eeeeks... when he was dipping his fish, he went eeeeeks BUT BUT still he did it (rather willingly.. Miss Lim is so proud of him) and of course during the process and after that he went eeeeeeeeks again. Haha!

Check out my “pet”.....

THE END… for now!
