Reached there rather early, thank God was with Efi if not will be "lost" after the registration. Haha!
The day started with a great Word by Pst Tan which ended with him saying a powerful prayer for us. It definitely got us all charged up!
After which we had a time of briefing with the Dean of Students, Pst Bobby where the "Rules & Regulation" etc were set. After which we went separate way to meet up our team.
There are quite a number of foreign students in the team that I’m in. There are also people from Dialect Church, Children Church and BBG. Like what the pastors said, we will be “sticking” with one another for the next 6mths.
As for the outdoor activities…
One word - HOT!
Two words - super HOT!
Three words - really cannot tahan!
Haha! But the games at the different stations where our strength, mind, stamina & creativity were tested definitely a time of team building and team bonding.
The day ended with a yummy welcome lunch from SOT.
8 to 11 Mar 2011 - first week of official lesson
One session I love to the max - WORSHIP time!
There were days we spent 1hr plus in God's presence and I remembered one of the days we spent close to 2hrs in His presence and still it was like "Not enough!"
There were days when Pst Derek moved freely, so freely in the Holy Spirit - there were tremendous peace, joy & freedom!
Got to constantly remind myself - learn to be STILL in His presence, learn to WAIT on Him and most importantly, never to take His presence for granted.
24weeks in SOT ... 1wk down ... 23weeks more to go! =)
