Questions!

Few days ago our school had an excursion for the K2 to Singapore Philatelic Museum and Singapore Central Fire Station!

My very first visit to Singapore Central Fire Station was great! Beside the closeup with the fire engines, the children and I also got to climb up and sit in the fire engine. We were also educated about its history - The first fire engine was called Fire King! And in those days, they actually used horses! Opps! I was thinking by the time they galloped there, wouldn’t the building be burnt down?

Throughout the trip, what really made my day was to hear the answers from the children when the different in-charges gave questions - so knowledgeable! Next was the questions they asked just made me almost flipped big time!

@ museum … in one of the rooms during the talk by Miss L
Miss L: Children, please do not touch the yellow button behind there
Children: @@!
Miss L: Because that button will sound the alarm and it will go on for very long.
Children: … …
Child G: * raised hand *
Miss L: Yes?
Child G: What if we walk and fall down then accidentally press on the button?
Miss L: Hmm…
Cher Lim: Haha!

@ Fire Station
* Mr Fireman demonstrated how in those days the firemen travelled on the engine *
ps: the photo below

Mr Fireman: As the firemen travelled on the engine to the fire venue
, they have to hold onto the railing.
Children: * amazed look *
Child A: * raised hand *
Mr Fireman: Yes?
Child A: If they want to drink water how?
Mr Fireman: Haha! At the point of time, they won’t… … …
Miss Lim: * flipped flipped *
