Concert Night 2

The teachers reported slightly earlier on the 2nd day.
After our pack-ups, checks and prepared the costumes/props etc for the night… we gathered back at main hall for praise & worship.

Just before the principal said a prayer, she shared with us the “happening moments” on stage on first night. It was hilarious!
Like what Pst S told us before the concert - "All done, now is to leave everything to God. Teachers, don't be stress and have fun! At the end of the day, the “mistakes” made by the children should not be corrected or reprimanded. Let them have fun too!"

Though 2nd night’s helpers are fewer but we were faster. Thank God that everything went on well "behind the scene"!

As K2s are the graduating classes thus they have high involvement in the concert. And as the form teachers, Mrs ML, Z Laoshi and myself too were much involved - that's the stressing part! We too got to be on stage to sing/do the actions with the children and also to take the lead for the "Grand Entrance".


A week before the concert, principal Mrs E Tan gave each of the teacher 4 tickets to each night of concert so to invite our friends/family.

On the 2nd night, I invited two of my ex-colleagues who one brought her friend and another her son.
As both of them are non-believers, I'm glad that both of them sat through when LSBC pastor went up to give a Word (trying to "kill" time while the children get changed). I'm also glad that they were touched by the concert.

Also managed to invite Mr Cher & Mr Teng. Really appreciate their presence … at first I find it “funny” to invite them as afterall they are not in this field so afraid they may find it bored or something and of course know they are both busy people.
During the dismissal, saw another special guest Miss Loh who came with a balloon “For A Super Teacher". Really appreciate her effort, thoughts, presence & present.


They joined me over @ MPH where I met up with parents and children for small chats and photo-takings. They too joined in the fun!


The teachers gathered back for the final debrief & thanksgiving session! “Hugs” and “Thank you” were given and said…
Ended the night with a great feast with Miss Loh, Mr Cher & Mr Teng!
